Referral charges are reclaimable, its the fee they charge you if they clear something when you have insufficient funds.

Read Natweststaffmembers 'Sticky' thread at the top of the forum. It has all the info on reclaimable charges.

good luck

With interest you will find your claim is over £5000, therefore outside the small claims jurisdiction

My advice has hardly any legal foundation whatsoever, however you never know it it might just work!

You could split it, or just go for the full amount. The outcome will be the same, though there is some differance in the allocation of costs, but you will get them all back (if) when you win.

From previous posts there seem to be slightly differing views on this. Clarification would be good.

have a practice with the spreadsheet while you are waiting for responses on your letters..because you WILL need it at MCOL/court stage...to be able to add on the Section 69 interest at 8%.

The simple spreadsheet will do this for you with no difficulty.

As for not bothering with the other interest...it's entirely your call...I didn't because it was £37 on a £2500 claim...but I did work out the spreadsheet just so I felt more 'in control' of the whole situation.

On your claim the 8% interest will mount up to an awful lot;)

good luck in the meantime with the LBA

well that seems easy enough all i did was paste my list of charges to the works simple spreadsheet & it did it all, the interest comes to over £700 which takes it over £5000 so does that mean i cant go to small claims????
