We are both in the Chambers of Madame Goose where from her front window, we have a wonderful view of the proceedings.

 

The white van is reversing towards the doors of the Convent. There is much movement in the van, the doors are closed, and the van begins to move forward. Just as the van moves onto the road, the crowds begin to surge forward. The van has stopped, unable to move any further. Suddenly several sharp cracks can be heard, gunshots? No it is 'Herr Flik', he must have come out of the Convent while everyone was watching the van. He has a whip in his hand and he is whipping the crowd. The crowd fall silent and start moving apart. Suddenly the Convent door opens and out strides Frau Helga Schnitzel accompanied by several children dressed in German National Costume. What is going on? Frau Helga and the children reach the van, Frau Helga climbs inside, after several minutes she reappears with someone covered in a white sheet. the crowd stands silent, watching and waiting. Frau Helga, the children and the figure covered in a sheet begin to move towards the Convent, a black car has suddenly appeared, the doors are opened, Frau Helga, the children and the figure in the white sheet all get into the car. The car moves forward, the crowds, still silent, move back to let the car past. As the car drives away, all hell broke loose as several women with young children ran after the car waving, shouting and pointing. Soon the car was out of sight, the crowds have started to disperse, but there are several women with children making their way towards the Convent.

Madame Goose wants her Chamber back, so we are making our way down to the harbour to see if we can pick up any more news.

 

What has been seen here today will be something that will be talked about long into the night and for a long time to come. And no doubt this is not the end of this matter.

Bonjour Mesdames,

 

The police and newspapermen have searched throughout the night for Frau Helga Schnitzel and, as was suspected, the victim 'Squarebob' who was 'Spirited' away yesterday. A thorough search of ports and airports has revealed nothing. The West German police said at a conference this morning in Hamburg, that Frau Helga Schnitzel was not a member of staff in any of their organisations, as for Herr Flik, he too remains an enigma.

Madame Fifi and her children have also booked out of their hotel and a check at several other hotels and pensions has revealed that several other women, some accompanied by children, have also booked out of their hotels very suddenly.

 

The police suspect the notorious organisation called 'The Alliance' to be behind this kidnapping, but so far no ransom demands have been received.

 

The World holds its breath in anticipation of further events.

Rooters report that an old lady dressed as 'Whistlers' Mother' has been arrested by the French Police in the very act of trying to remove the painting of the 'Madonna' from the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Another item of news is the recent disapearance of roving reporter Michelle Langoustine who left her office after having received a telephone call and has not been seen since. A substantial reward has been offered for information on the whereabouts of Michelle Langoustine and the French Police are treating this matter very seriously.

A News Flash from Paris (France)

The old woman arrested at the Louvre Museum in paris, removed her?? disguise while in custody and was revealed to be none other than Monsewer Reynard, the man?? of many faces and Criminal Mastermind behind the 'Ruthless and Heartless' organisation called the 'Alliance'.

Monsewer Reynard was moved to a police cell to await transportation to the main prison. When the custody officer returned to the cell, there was no sign of Monsewer Reynard. A search of the building revealed nothing, but a further search of the police cell turned up a 'Fox-Skin' stuffed behind the toilet.

 

Police later admitted that they had no idea as to who they should be looking for.
