I have had a financial hardship payment from AL of £565 which they put into my account They say it is a refund of all fees since change of circumstances but they have not said from what date or given a breakdown of how they have reached this figure. Whilst it is some sort of result, I could do with some help on what to do next. Is there a template letter that I can send saying I will still be carrying on with my claim through the courts? My change in circumstances came about after my claim was stayed, so I assume that the fh payment is seperate to this as there have been more fees incurred to my account since the stay. Any help would be appreciated as I would hate AL to forget who I was:) As a matter of interest has anyone else had the same letter I received today from Ashurst LLP. It was a notice of change of solicitor forwarded to the court for filing on behalf of Alliance and Leicester. Is this just specific to my local court, me or everyone claiming?

Probably should have explained better Heidi. AL were being awkward and said they needed more evidence of hardship - i.e when partner gave up trading and other bits all of which were in original income and exp. letter. so I sent of required 'evidence' along with a letter stating they already had the information and reminded them that interest was still being incurred on my claim that had been stayed and I would persue.

Keep plugging in there Fran - AL has stumped up £565 to my account due to financial hardship, but it took two letters and a bit of determination. they say it's a refund of all fees since my change in circumstances. I'm now looking for a letter to reply that I will still be challenging the rest of my claim.

No it daint Baz - NONE of my household (I'm boss of course) like footy or rugby or cricket or the like (bearing in mind I'm the only femme) soaps give or take let's face it once you've read the girly mags you know the weeks plots anyway. We're more into Chop Shop, Wheeler Dealers, Wreck to Riches etc. Don't mind a bit of girly foody progs as long as they're fit and microable:p (sad cow actually likes cooking HFW style)

Another question Second letter back from A&L asking for more info - or is it just stalling? They are now asking again with and with extras for evidence of telephone bill, creditor balances and repayments (i'm sure all were in the original) as well as partners proof of benefits (none as can't claim, unfortunately can't find letter saying so i.e not enough stamps paid when self emp. but do have letter from Inland Rev. with bill for said stamps) Also asking for copy of financial accounts or letter from accountant (own records) confirming date ceased trading. Where the heck can I prove that - will the tax return he's about to do suffice, one problem there though he's doing it online so won't be able to print it off. They are saying they are unable to assess until this info is in. surely they don't need this proof, let's face it I bank with them so they know the majority of what is going out and to whom with DD's and at least one of their debtors is themselves. HELP
