I don't think they've done this. I'll scan my agreement for you to look at. Quality might not be great tho as it's a small scan from the SAR I sent.

Everyone will have an agreement. It's what happened AFTER you signed that REALLY matters;)

Probably no different from anyone else, but hey

This is a bit strange? What was the loan amount for? Was it for £1052.87?

The total charge certainly has acceptance fee and charge for interest together to make up the lump sum of £1732.92. But it does state your acceptance fee will be added into Total amount of credit.

The APR is spot on. I think someone else would have to work out the interest rate.

It was signed in Sept 07, it's a re-written agreement to lower the monthly payments from 116.29.

Stewie becoz it was a re-written agreement I didn't get a loan, the orginal was for £1500 in Nov 2005.

Where Is The Total Ammount Payable

Perscribed Term

TBH it's only been since we've all been investigating Welcome's agreements that I've looked at my own after receiving my SAR, and I was shocked to find out I owe almost £2,500! The agreement makes it look as though it's for £1732.92

nope total amount payable is not a prescribed term, see Schedule 6 Consumer Credit agreement regulations 1983 for the prescribed terms

total amount payable is a requirement of schedule 1 para 11 SI 1983 / 1553

it depends upon the type of agreement, but a breach of schedule 1 is not the same as a breach of schedule 6,

simply you need a major breach of schedule 1 really to affect the enforceability of the agreement, maybe 2 or 3 breaches

but in contrast, the slightest breach of schedule 6 kills the agreement

A - Total amount of credit.

Sorry Sol I didnt see B - amount to settle loan. But why did they charge an acceptance fee if it was a re-loan? Thats a big question. Was it at Welcomes suggestion you re-loan? See where im going here.

Post - The terms are on top right.

Hi

This agreement was re-written as I couldn't afford the repayments of the first one, which was for a loan of £1500 - £750 chq and £750 BACS

Hi stewie,

it was a their suggestion, in fact they pushed me into doing it against my better judgement.
