Hi just wondering if anyone has experienced the same and can advise me what to do next. I applied for a loan with yes loans and they took a £49 processing fee off me. I phoned and asked for it back as i did not take up the loan, they gave me an email address for me to write to to claim it back but the address doesnt exist. When i phone up they tell me they dont deal with it over the phone and i have to use the email address given.

have you signed anything saying they can charge you this fee?

no everything was done over the phone. Tried phoning again today and they kept me on hold for 25 mins then cut me off

ok, if you have any letters from them look at VERY small print at bottom for their registered orfice address, write to them explain the problem and say you are making an official complaint and ask for copy of complaint procedure, do point out that you keep getting fobbed off with excuses and that you have had enough and that you will take this matter further unless a satisfactory conclusion gets made,

 

basicly make it sound like (and quote) cough up or i will complain to trading standards and office of fair trading and should it be neccessary I will take legal action agaist you

this company is a right pain in the bottom - they did the same to me and I didn't realise they are broker s and NOT the actual lenders - Once I read up on them Ifound they usually refer you to welcome finance which I said no to as I have a car finance with them and so would not be able to get a loan with them too. Yes Loans then sai dthey would refund my money. It took 6 MONTHS to get it back. and I lost £5 of it for admin fees!

 

The still phone, text & email me several times each month trying to get tme to go back with them but never again. Every call I made to them was just filled with lies.
