How do I ask for a cheque?

I have just submitted my claim against Lloyds through Moneyclaim online. Somewhere on here I read that you could ask them to pay by cheque as my account is still overdrawn so I don't want it to go into there.

 

I was expecting somewhere on the claim for me to put this but there wasn't anyone know how/where I do that.

I think, though I'm not 100% on this, that you have to request it in your Particulars of Claim. Anybody know if this is right??

Yes I think you would have to request it in your Particulars of Claim. Lloyds really don't like paying by cheque - especially if your account is overdrawn, and they are likely to credit it without warning.

 

If your account has been taken further overdrawn since you began the process, as unfortunate as this is you will have to start again to reclaim the new charges.

Thanks for that I think I will ring moneyclaim customer service desk and ask if I can add it as I only submitted it yesterday and it will not go until 10am this morning. Worth a try:)

I filed at court last week against A&L and requested repayment by cheque on my particulars of claim.Hope this helps.
