I hope somebody can help me.

My flat used to be a shop but has been converted,

the supplier of both my gas and electric still charge me commercial rates which are seriously high.

Other companies wont take on my account as they see it as commercial.

Can anyone help me to change to a residential tariff

Speak to your local Council which handled and granted permission for the conversion they should have updated your ratable class....which is what Utilities refer to.

Andyorch ,

many thanks for your reply,

the flat was granted residential status December 2021. But still the supply company refuse to change tariffs.

I really do not know what to do as I can't change tariff online or anything.

I'm paying £4.00 a day just in gas and electric meter charges, over 60p per unit. However they have reduced my VAT to 5% from 20% !!!
