Well they're not paying all of his expenses, Lord Bamford is providing two houses at £10k or more a month.

Could be wrong I suppose, but I really dont think that, or simply not being there,  will stop Johnson claiming constituency and parliamentary pay and expenses.

Painted over something that falls off? ...

Sounds about right

Which beggars the question of Who T Feck is paying May  or Truss vast sums to give talks, and why?

- if they aren't just a way of masking payoffs that is

I see @theoldrouhe who posted bridgens anti-vax lies here still hasn't retracted ...

"“Andrew Bridgen has put lives at risk for months by being enabled to peddle health misinformation in Parliament. "

"it is unacceptable that an MP has been allowed to repeatedly make dangerous, false claims about vaccines for months without consequence. "

- Will Moy, chief executive at anti-misinformation site Full Fact

- and of course those reposting his lies elsewhere ..

Pippa Crerar on Twitter.

BREAKING: Tory MP Andrew Bridgen stripped of party whip for vaccine misinformation.

Mr. Bridgen, who has a science background, has become Parliament’s most vocal critic of the Covid vaccines. He thus made himself a big target for the pro-vaccine zealots who will have been looking for an excuse to punish and cancel him, and who have predictably leapt on the first ‘offensive’ thing they could find.

Dr. Guetzkow, the academic whose article Mr. Bridgen linked to in the tweet in question and who is Jewish and lives in Israel, defended Mr. Bridgen from allegations of anti-Semitism. He told the Daily Sceptic that “there is nothing at all anti-Semitic about his statement” and that “the hollow accusations against him only distract from genuine examples of anti-Semitism”

You'd think he'd be a better liar with a science background. Either he's stupid, or he thinks his audience is.

A Simple easily confirmable fact @theoldrouge : (and confirmed by headline reports)

Even aside from obnoxious holocaust references, Your/Bridgens claims re articles and contents - are lies,

 - Not only regarding what was said about what, but also even who did or didn't say it

- as seems to be your every case

-   even demonstrated by the Daily Mail among many reporting on the content and Journals actual views of the essay.

Just one more in a stream of serial anti-vax lies promoted by you/Bridgen and a small rabid anti-vax minority which are easily shown to be lies .

'Andrew Bridgen was stripped of the party whip after an(other) astonishing outburst on Twitter that led to widespread condemnation from politicians, Jewish groups and medical experts.'

From EVEN the daily Mail:

How safe are the Covid vaccines?

"Since the pandemic began, nearly 180,000 people in the UK have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid. Meanwhile, more than 1million have died in the US.

Before vaccines were created, health chiefs had no weapons in their arsenal to effectively fight the virus. It meant countries could only turn to restrictions, such as lockdowns, to shelter people from the pathogen and save lives.

But at the end of 2020, Covid vaccines made by Pfizer and AstraZeneca were approved — just one year after the virus was first detected in China — which changed the game.

Within months, the robust defences the vaccines provided gave policymakers across the world the confidence to press ahead with easing virus curbs."

"Evidence from rollouts across the world — with more than 13billion doses dished out globally — has repeatedly proven the vaccines are the best way to slash the risk of severe illness and death from the virus."

"Latest data from the UK Health Security Agency shows that a Covid booster cuts the risk of hospitalisation by up to 84 per cent among 18 to 64-year-olds and 90 per cent among over-65s."

"The risk of dying from a Covid infection falls by up to 94 per cent after vaccination"

"Questions have been asked about the safety of Covid vaccines, given how quickly they were rolled out. Yet the fears are ungrounded, with all of the jabs approved for use in the UK and US passing rigorous safety tests."

"Anti-vaxx communities peddle myths that the jabs are to blame for a spike in heart deaths, but real-world data doesn’t support these claims."

Good news that Zahawi is paying what's due. It's a shame the article doesn't mention Dan Neidle who's done a lot of work on this.

Zahawi's lawyers threatened him and told him not to publish their letter so he put it on Twitter. He reported them to the SRA and it found against the lawyers. I think he's a hero.

AFTER being caught

For a normal person who cheated even a hundredth of that repaying what they owed would only be the start.

When you think about it, the number of Tory politicians who shouldn't be in that postion due to either criminality, or the tories holding back their gifting grifters with a seat in the Lords until the next general election would make them a minority party

- the simple fact is the current lot of poopulists not only have no mandate,

they are doing their utmost to avoid going to the public - who dont want them

Rafael Behr on the bill that's being debated today.

Something I don't understand is that the Tories are all in favour of 'growth' but for anyone wanting to export to our nearest market over the Channel, they seem to want to make things harder and more expensive.

PM retains confidence in under-pressure Tory chair, says No 10 – as Sunak’s own tax returns set to be published ‘very short time’

"The Independent reported in July that HMRC officials were examining the tax affairs of the senior Tory figure after an inquiry was launched by the National Crime Agency (NCA) in 2020.

The initial NCA inquiry was codenamed Operation Catalufa and is understood to have involved the agency’s International Corruption Unit."
