I think each provider has cart blanche to deliver the programme which ever way they see fit obviously within the perametres of the guidlines. I have emailed Flumps to check if he'she have heard anything. There's a few on the Ingeus thread who are due to finish next month and not read anything like what you have had to endure.

And also remember the fellow job seekers i was with wasnt all from my work programme provider, this is coming direct from the government.

To be honest I'm not that bothered, I do my searches I can be checked that I applied. If they offer help I'll take it. Never had any issue with the advisors, they've all been decent to me.

Well when you do go back to the Jobcentre there will be a team allocated to helping people returning from the work programme, if they offer me help i'll take it but i know what they really want and thats for me to be signed off.

It's going to be like New York Grand Central Station. There isn't enough staff to cope!

LOL, I think they already know this they had a security at the door during the whole of the info session with his radio going off. I actually felt like i was in a scene from some prison education class.

Still waiting for the next office meeting to go through the post work program support, I don't know any details as yet so can't answer anything specifically sorry.

Once I've attended the meeting and understood I will do my best to advise on what I can although no doubt some of it will be information that I will not be able to disclose until go live so to speak, so nothing personal but until I know I won't get involved in any speculation.

I am curious to know what happens also (one of the main reasons why I came to this site), one thing I do no is that apparently because of a EU directive we will not be sent on it again, as it apparently 'infringes our Human Rights' if we have to go through the 'stress' of it all again (or something like that). What interests me though is that will they actually read the feedback forms at the end, because the amount of help that I have received throughout the work program could be penned on a postage stamp. I have been told though that you just go back to the advisor at the JCP and er that's it (well worth the 2 years of my life then?). Although they will be and overpaid quango somewhere devising some other 'equally stupid' plan for all us 'unfortunates' to be 'herded on to'.

I was on the second or third intake and I finish in around 4 weeks so I am taking 'flumps1976' you were on the first? Lucky you (or not), in one word how did you find it?

My word is - Pointless (sorry for copyright infringement BBC) :)

There was the New Deal programme which morphed in to the Flexible New Deal - In part, due to fraudulent outcome claims by some, and also to give providers flexibility to deliver a "black box" provision. Thanks to a change in government, the "all singing, shiny new" Work Programme was rolled out promising to deliver real change. The reality was, predictably, the same tired old "interventions" that failed to deliver in previous incarnations.

Some of the most unfortunate have been through all three schemes, so to claim a breach of "Human Rights" would be tenuous at best. It is more likely that another wonderful scheme will be dreamed up with the reality of it being even more onerous... Thirty two weeks of unpaid volunteering at thirty hours a week picking up litter or cleaning off graffiti in return for the "right" to receive JSA... Maybe the reintroduction of the workhouse for the financially or morally destitute...

Are not Poundlamd, Tesco, Argos and the other free loaders using unpaid workers so could be classified as modern day workhouses?

Well said!

I was told I'd be back with the jolly old JC for six months then back to Ingeus for a further 2 years...however, it was an Ingeus advisor who said this so excuse me if I don't believe it :)

Work Programme Leavers Face More Misery, Bullying and Sanctions, New Government Press Release..

Work Programme leavers will be targeted by a hit squad of specialist advisers as part of a tough approach to get them into a job.

Up to 5 specialist advisers will be based in individual Jobcentres dedicated to working with people not in sustained work after 2 years on the Work Programme.

Claimants will be given an end-of-term report from their Work Programme provider assessing what progress they have made and their ongoing needs, to inform their new adviser before facing the toughest Jobcentre regime to help them find work.

At their first appointment they will have to agree a binding back-to-work plan laying out what they are required to do.

Story http://intensiveactivity.wordpress.com/2013/05/31/work-programme-leavers-face-more-misery-bullying-and-sanctions-new-government-press-release/

As far as I can tell it will be the majority of claimants originally mandated to the WP that will be effected by this, as the drones have failed spectacularly in getting claimants into work.

No blame will be apportioned to the pimps, no the blame will fall squarely on the shoulders of those that could not find job in the worst economic climate this country has seen for decades. Claimants will be subjected to brutal conditionality for the WP's failings.

Once again this government points the accusing finger at the disenfranchised whilst giving a pat on the back to the real culprits, if job seekers had not been wasting their time for two whole years on Micky Mouse schemes some of them might just have been employed by now.

Seems like even the work programme will be better than this depending on which advisor you do get at the work programme as some are alright, i can see the majority of people being bullied off benefits who are returning. I think i might even try and get back onto the work programme as going to the job centre is like talking to a brick wall and all they want to do is sanction you for some reason or another. Expect crime rates to rise for 2014

I 've said it before. The government is using this EU vs UK benefit conflict to get rid of JSA for all claimants including the British. This would be the perfect solution for the nasty party. The media are preparing the ground. Stay tuned.
