I have never complained about a company online before, but this company are awful in my opinion

way back in January our fridge/freezer developed a fault, looking for a company who could help repair it we came across 0800repair, I paid £120 for a no fix no charge repair

the engineer called and needed to order a part, he told us 5 days, 3 weeks later and the part arrived another week passed and the part was fitted,

all went well until March when the fault returned, as we had been given a 12 month guarantee we called oh 800 repair and another engineer arrived within a few days and we were told a part was required and it would take 5 days, 4 weeks later we were still waiting eventually the engineer called and fitted the part,

then the fridge freezer broke down again, after a few calls to 0800repair an engineer called, he informed us that the last engineer had damaged the insulation and this was why the fridge/freezer had failed again, he said a part would be ordered and fitted in about 5 days, yep you guessed 5 weeks and still no part or any idea when it would arrive, we asked to speak to a manager and were told someone would call within 24 hours, no one called, we phoned again and were told we would get a call the next day,

3 days later we got a call from a manager who offered to have the part fitted the following week, when we asked for an appointment he said if we called his number and left a message he would call us back, we gave 0800repair another week and then rang the manager and left a message, he never rang back, we called again a few days later and were told he had tried to call us, we have a lphone that records who calls us and 0800 were not on that list,

I asked him to call me and did not get a reply, after being without our fridge/freezer for most of the year I finally got to speak to someone in Headoffice and agreed to a refund, the very next day this manager and I have his name rang me to say the part had finally arrived, by this time we had bought a new fridge/freezer.

we got really poor service from this company, almost everytime we rang them they gave us different answers, when we asked to be updated they promised to ring back, they seldom did, it was us that had to do the chasing and we got the runaround,

if you read this review then do yourselves a favour and don't use 0800 repair, they are clearly understaffed, they clearly cannot do what they promise and they do not provide a service that could be called customer friendly
