This has got me a little worried now. I have a loan with them this month for the first time and feel like they could be a lot of hassle when it comes to payment

I have no issue paying but once it's cleared am I able to get my bank (Natwest) to put a stop on any future attempts they may make to take funds from my bank as I'm sure from reading how these companies work they will try and say I owe them in some way or another

Just send a simple letter/email to McKenzie Hall stating that the account is in dispute and that you expect them to act within the OFT guidelines. You also need to state that if you receive any further communication from MH the this will be deemed as breaching the OFT guidelines and will be dealt with accordingly. (see S2.6 h) of the oft guidance (h. ignoring and/or disregarding claims that debts have been settled or are disputed and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment)
