  1. I believe the age for criminal responsibility is 10, happy to be corrected if that's not right.
  2. If it smells like a lemon then it probably is, you have the right to reject the vehicle (I believe) as the faults have not been fixed by the dealer and you're within the timeframe. Did you pay cash or credit?
  3. Post up a redacted version of what you have, it's important to know. If it's a Council notice then it must be paid or it will escalate, if it's a Private Parking Company charge then you don't pay.
  4. @CaramelbNO!!! No contact with the PPC at all unless you get a letter before claim.
  5. I think the argument here is whether the vehicle was sold as a 2018 model or as a 2018 registered vehicle. If you can prove it was then you were misled and could be entitled to a partial refund, I think you're too late to reject the vehicle on the same grounds though. It's quite common to purchase a previous year's model as a late registration on a current year plate as it can save a lot over the newer model, especially if it's mostly cosmetic changes.
  6. As the NTK is out of time to create keeper liability that's your strongest argument so just ignore (but keep) all their tripe unless you get a letter before claim, I doubt this will go anywhere though as they are on a hiding to nothing.
  7. Ignore everything (but keep it) unless you get a Letter Before Action. I doubt they would try this on in court
  8. I have domestic CCTV and I had a stroppy neighbour who tried to go down this route with me even sending me a FOI request (laughable), I found out that as long as the captures off your own property are incidental there is no need to contact the ICO as long as your DVR overwrites your captures every 30 days or so, so you are not storing data beyond that very short period, they will never be interested and you are not liable to react to any queries regarding data protection. Additional: this is presuming you have static cameras, there is a law about PTZ (movable cameras) though.
  9. This is my 100th and final attempt at this, he needs to join the group himself and post as I haven't got a clue beyond typing text. 2022-11-02 MET NTK for 2022-10-13 yellow line infraction.pdf
  10. He sent me a photo, no clue how to redact things, anyone help?
  11. Quick question: remind me what the timings are for a NTK for an ANPR parking charge please? Incident was on 13/10/2022 and date of issue of NTK was 02/11/2022 I think it was received a few days ago.
  12. Thanks all, I'll continue to advise him. No receipt for coffee but he paid by card so I'll suggest that as evidence he was there legitimately.
  13. As much as I found them useless I'd be referring to Child Social Services as it sounds like manipulation by the adult in charge of the older half sibling. That's abuse and needs to be addressed.
  14. Hi All, A friend of mine got a Met Parking charge whilst visiting the BP garage at Stansted airport CM24 1PY, his crime was to park on a yellow line in the garage forecourt as he didn't want fuel, so he didn't park on a pump and he went to the shop to get a coffee (no marked bays anywhere on the forecourt). I have told him all the usual stuff but does anyone know if the BR garage forecourt is airport land?
  15. Is it a recall from the manufacturer? Sometimes the manufacturers require the parts back for remedial recall works.
  16. If it's a communal bin you cannot be held responsible for someone removing your rubbish from the bin after you have placed it in there. In fact sending out these ridiculous notices will just perpetuate the problem. They should clearly be emptying the bins more frequently.
