  1. I may have posted this a few years ago. But with all the focus on the Metropolitan Police and how they covered up things with dodgy officers. This has now rekindled what went on. I am very familiar with private plates as DVLA have stolen quite a few off me in the past 4BYO & 33ALC being my favourite. But this is about the actual removal of a registration of a vehicle that was registered with old green log book and new V5 at time. Never registered as scrapped and owned for 15 years with £75000 spent on it. Registration removed = worthless. Transpires DVLA admitted the Metropolitan Police had instructed them to remove the registration. Police had taken log books and chassis plates. I cannot find anywhere that this kind of action is legal. Bare in mind I have been subject to a Forfeit order followed by a Confiscation order back in 1997 which should never be possible. Again the Police get away with a lot of things.
  2. This is a very sore subject with me that will not go away. DVLA years ago removed a vehicle registration from one of my cars. It transpires that the Metropolitan police instructed them to do so. The story behind the car is complicated but I am now more interested in the legal aspect. Does anyone have any experience of anything like this happening. Thank you
  3. I just had to much going on last year and this took a back seat. My Mother has dementia and got worse since my brother died the year before. I also was on a school street watch for close on 6 months which saved 6500 drivers a ticket but took its toll stress wise as it became an obsession which did not help. Caught covid and then this so called super flu/cold. The crap with the bogus American express claim triggered the wake up. Mondays tribunal was just an example of how easy these charges can spiral unless you do something about it. This is the only thing I have outstanding and having it in my wifes name makes it worse. That is why I have to do something. The internet totally crashed last night and bought a new modem online to try to get back up.
  4. Thanks , the original was £60 then £100 from PCM the Trace jumped to £170. CCJ was £287.05 And now they want to add £124 for warrant of control. As soon as I have internet back I will get it all up.
  5. This is more of information as I appeared at London Parking Tribunal on monday 16th Jan and won my appeal. I had gone to pick up materials BQ had shown to have in stock but after looking everywhere it turned out they were out of stock. The camera operator had decided that 6 minutes was enough time. No mention of the 2/3 minute walk to store or the time it takes to find an assistant to find the stock I was after. Having filled in my reasons for parking TFL of course rejected my appeal and sent me the reason being, That I was shopping which is essentially loading in a non commercial context and not using a vehicle intended for the purpose. This is a very shortened version which I will post once my internet is restored. I appealed to tribunal as I had stated I was a builder and my vehicle is insured for business use. The vehicle is a Lexus RX. Plus BQ is one of the biggest building trade suppliers and I have one of their trade cards. I do not know what I won the appeal on as I have not received the notice yet but as soon as I have it I will post asap. One interesting point was the in the dvd my wheels were in the box but was told some adjudicator's will uphold a charge if the whole of the vehicle is not in the bay. Mine was over hanging with part of the body but TFL had not included that. Good start to the week but no costs awarded even though I asked.
  6. This is a very bad start as I should have taken care of it a while back. Our car was in my wifes name and I parked in our local BP station back in 1/11/21 for a very short period not leaving the petrol station. We received a parking charge notice 2 weeks later which was addressed to my wife as she was the keeper. I filled in the form and set it back stating I was the driver and had permission to park as it is my regular station for years and know most of the employees in person. We then received a second a month later and just returned stating the same facts and that we had replied to the first. These 2 were from PCM. We then received a third from Trace around the 21 January 2022 which we replied but this time sent it tracked. We then received a reply dated 15th March 2022 which ignored any knowledge of our first two letters. I then ignored a further contact as they were just con merchants. However they went further and got a CCJ against my wife and now we have a company called Empira chasing us now stating they are seeking a warrant of control. I would like to know if I can issue a set aside application to fight this a I sent notice of driver which was ignored and the fact I had permission to park. I will post paperwork once our internet is restored but I want to know if I can stop this in its tracks please.
  7. Sorry just a quick question on best way to send pdf files thanks
  8. I know as I have a lot of catching up and need to post a CCJ we got on a BP forecourt as well as a TFL fine on loading bay Holloway Road. Will post soon.
  9. I can see what your saying but surely there must be a way to sue these companies on a personal basis.
  10. What I am having trouble with now is that these companies can harass you for money and are clearly causing stress and hardship in so many cares. When the truth is that they have no legal right to pursue something that is legally barred. Also some debts are just made up but many people pay up for a quiet life. My question is why is there legal recourse that we could take against them to stop this illegal practice. Interested to know any views of this question.
  11. Latest update. Sent CCA off 7th December tracked Royal Mail. Had 2 letters yesterday first from Capquest who we sent CCA to. They write to acknowledge our recent letter and requested documentation. Collections ect, temporarily suspended. Letter dated 13th December received 19th December. Second letter from Arrow Global returning PO as free of charge. Same Collections temporarily suspended and letter dated 13th December received 19th December. They will respond as soon as possible. Which will be a first as we have never had an American Express card. It must be a Christmas Miracle.
  12. Sent CCA off today tracked. We had 3 calls on our home phone from Resolvecall today and wanted to ask if anyone knows how they got our number as we mainly use mobiles and very few people even have our number. I cannot believe they are allowed to trade as this is not right.
