  1. If he comes back film him on your phone and tell him to leave or you'll call the Police, do not engage otherwise, do not answer questions, just keep saying leave now.
  2. IMHO I'd pay it as they escalate quickly from Local Authorities and chalk it down to experience, next time sit in the car until the restricted hours have passed and then go look for a pay point.
  3. Tip: if it was a private plate on your car get an application to the DVLA to get it put onto a retention certificate otherwise you will lose it once the car is declared a write off and the claim settled - it's interesting that when this happened to me the DVLA reassigned the original reg number to the vehicle so it might answer your other problem.
  4. It doesn't matter if a road layout or access rules are changed overnight, it is the driver's responsibility to observe and comply with road signs, pay the reduced amount and mark it up to experience.
  5. Never ever appeal a Penalty Charge Notice from a PPC. Did you reveal you were the driver in your appeal? As there is no loss it's going to be hard for the PPC to justify a claim in court, that doesn't mean they won't try though and certainly before that stage they'll bombard you with DCA letters and begging letters for you to pay their made up charges. Basically you ignore everything except a Letter Before Claim (titled as such) and in the meantime post up the details in the Forum sticky so the Pro's on here can tell you in the PCN complies with POPLA. Also next time you're at that car park take some pictures of the signs so the Pro's can see if they are compliant, I bet they're not!
  6. Block their number on your mobile phone and report it to various resources such as Who Called Me as harassing.
  7. Could be a postal issue? Lots of issues with snail mail at the moment and that's how DVLA send out VED reminders.
  8. You complain to the Practice Manager and if that fails to satisfy, you go to NHS England.
  9. Out of time to create Keeper Liability, never appeal, never tell them you were driving and you're set if the fleecers try it on in court.
  10. Isn't the Blue Badge scheme inoperable/unenforceable on private land? Also was it your daughter's car? If so she lives in Scotland and there's no POFA so as long as the PPC doesn't know who the driver was they don't stand a chance.
  11. Formally reject the goods and demand a refund, do a chargeback if you paid by credit card. Give them a limited time to come and collect the faulty machine and say after that period it will be left outside at their risk. Never ever buy a washer dryer and never buy Candy - they are rubbish.
  12. Not sure if the Blue Badge/Disabled Parking Bays are enforceable on railway land but the NTK is way too late to create keeper liability even by the date on the NTK let alone the date received, so do nothing until you get a Letter Before Claim and then send a snotty letter asking why they think the rules don't apply to them.
  13. No doubt UK PC thought they were going to get an easy peasy back door CCJ as you didn't respond to anything from them - this is why it is essential to respond to the Letter Before Action with a suitable snotty letter.
  14. Can you clarify if you have the car back in your possession or if the garage still has it?
  15. If the only evidence is from a member of the public's dashcam that they have submitted, they will have to attend court to confirm the evidence was made by them and is a true representation of the events. In my experience most Dash Cammers submit the footage but don't want to attend court, so there is a chance the Police would have to drop the allegation if you plead Not Guilty and the DashCammer declines to attend court. Of course some may be willing to attend court and in that case your punishment could be worse than if you admitted guilt at the first opportunity.
  16. Just checking, but how is this person harassing you? Is it by emails and text messages? If so you can block the emails and text messages easily enough or change your email address and phone number which has to be easier than changing your name?
  17. They are not popular on Trust Pilot which suggests it's a scam - https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/hidenda.com
  18. I bet it's a Jag, very common problem on those especially XF models. The electronics are shocking. If it was mine I'd be rejecting it and saving myself a whole host of issues further along as the electronics degrade further, oh and a heads up: never, ever disconnect the battery or you'll need to get it towed to a main dealer who will charge you £600 to 'reset the software' an utter rip off disguising a serious known fault with the whole range. Next time stick to German cars!
