Well I submitted the claim On Friday to the court and lo and behold yesterday she receives the 'bog standard letter' saying the charges are fair. This letter was dated the 14th June, so it's taken almost 10 days to get to her!! So now the waiting game begins.

Reading around the forums, I see she may need the T & Cs 2001 for the court bundle . How do i go about getting these as she never kept any? thanks

I wouldn't worry about all that yet as Halifax tend to pay up before it gets to court.

Apparently Halifax are the easiest of the lot. I am finding my Barclaycard claim a complete nightmare

I'm doing another for my son (HSBC) but he is stalling me with it now. I think he may be hiding something from me.

Hi everyone . I received the notice of issue from the courts and it states that Halifax have until the 11th July to reply. What happens if we don't hear by then?

hi there if they dont reply by the 12th july you need to send the 7 day letter pay up now or else i have put the link here for you

Still no news yet. I submitted the claim using the N1 form. Should I wait until the 12th July and then phone the court to make enquiries on the progress?

if they havent replied by the 11th then you need to send your 7 day letter pay up or else the court will only tell you they served the papers on halifax have a read around theses threads sanand jade and overflow

See you read our threads, what a nightmare, we are up and down like yo-yos, they finally acknowledged my claim on the 10th July (1 day late), but i'd already sent them the 7 day letter, so just have to wait and see now, keep us all updated with your claim and good luck
