I have checked the survey results and the forum posts but I cannot see anyone saying they have been sucessful in getting charges back from Egg.

I have sent my Preliminery letter and was glad I didn't have to send a DPA request since the charges im claiming are shown on my account via the Egg online banking.

Nationwide:

DPA Letter sent 10th May, Received 1st June, calculated approx £330 charges, Prelim to sent soon.

Egg

£60 Charges - Pre Letter sent 23rd May, declined refund,

Halifax

£39 Charge - Pre Letter sent 23rd May, Halifax have agreed to refund the £39

If you read EmpireStrikesBacks thread, (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1270) Egg have just sent in a defence to his court claim...

TBH I don't know if anyone has actually got anything out of them yet... SM_badmood.gif

And in addition to that... if you look at my thread (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4814) I don't know that it is connected but they have just increased the APR on my account ! smiley35.gif

If you have found this post (or any other post) useful ensure you click on the scales in the top right of that post to give credit where credit is due.:D
