Am I the only one who has not had the tv on or listened  to the news today? sorry but I am not a fan of the Royals, yes it is sad the Queen has passed away, but us the tax payers are paying for all this

Possibly a subject for another day. Today was about a suitable send off for a head of State that provided 70 years of dedicated service.

Also had a post hidden when replying to you.  I did not receive any alert either, I just noticed it.  I think you only get an alert, if the post is deleted or edited.

 

I think there was a feeling that it was too early on the day of the funeral to be commenting in a way that may cause some people upset. Many people loved HM The Queen as if she was a member of their own family.

 

No doubt there will be debates about whether the UK should have a monarchy during the next few years.

I  am sure I posted it last night, it was not offensive, I am just not a fan of the Royals , I was also at my granddaughters grave yesterday. She was just 8 weeks old when  she passed, today has also been bad for me as is  the day I lost triplets, yes it was 1971, but makes it no less to think of them every day
