i'm not even sure if TfL will converse with a solicitor either

Hey everyone,

 

As of this morning my solicitor was able to help me get out of this sticky mess and I have been fined a administrative penalty ONLY which I'm very happy with considering how low it was compared to what I thought I would get fined. 

 

I feel quite lucky but this has been an eye opener that one mistake can lead to a whole load of regret.

My solicitor had dealt with cases like these before and had (what i can only guess from other cases like mine) sent a email to hold any sort of prosecution against me and also sent some information about myself. As a solicitor does he gathered information about myself (work contracts etc...) and references from family friends & members to send to the rail company. 

 

This was all done Friday and we got a response back today with the fine I stated above. 

 

Despite some people doing this themselves I did feel "safe" so say.

you didn't get fined nor did you get an administrative penalty from TfL..

you got an Out Of Court Settlement.

 

which you could easily have done for free yourself.
