Had an email at 1.30am this morning, telling me that Robin Hood Energy are no longer operating and their customer base is being sold to British Gas.  As a consequence, Ebico who are totally reliant on Robin Hood, are also having to transfer their customers to British Gas.

Those consumers who are affected will be contacted by British Gas in the next few weeks.  British Gas have apparently agreed to match or better existing deals.  So if you are currently with Ebico or Robin Hood, please do not ignore letters from British Gas.

As they have promised to match/beat rates I'm not over worried as I will switch when fixed rate ends
