ok thanks

Have had a quick look at this spreadsheet.

I put the "day after last interest charged" date in the Date of Charge?

Description - what should I put in here? something like total from CI schedule of charges?

And in the "Amount of Charge" box I put the total from the CI sheet total?

what about the monthly payment of ppi title ? Should I alter this somehow? Change it to the s.69 you mention?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

not sure what I am doing. They are .gif docs on my computer. And when I try to click save as I cant save them as .xls

But I have figured out the spreadies anyway, 2 separate ones. One with the CI total at the lower 14.9% Abnd then a separate 8% claim of this total.

It is much less than I was originally claiming. But the 2nd sheet with stat interest does increase the total to more than they are offering,

Thank you so much for all this help.

This is really helpful.

I was on the point of sending a completely different letter / spreadsheet and I know they would have rejected it - so this is perfect.

Now I just need to rewrite the letter and also ensure that they remove the default from my records too....

**UPDATE**

Hsbc have replied.

They have refused to increase their offer or remove default from cra.

They are not interested in my additional 8% stat interest sheet.

Their previous offer clears the card debt and does refund charges - but just not much else.

There is a difference of apx £150 between their offer and what I requested.

I think that I may accept and just be done with it....

Although I am angry about the default not being removed...

I guess this account is almost "settled".

They will clear the nominal card balance and then send the balance by cheque or transfer to an alternative bank....

I will post again when receive payment.
