hi the same thing has happened to me , i returned my items to slimtone which cost me £8 by special delivery and i cancelled my subscription . they have now took another £75 out of my bank ! ive tried to ring them and its just an automated service , there email adress is now invalid ! i have clicked on the website to see if my subscription was cancelled and it was . so why are they still sending me items and taking money out of my account ? would really appreciate some help on this please , as there is no way of communicating with this slimtone sham of a company !!!!!!!

I am too a victim of these low lifes. I sent an email within the 14 days specified to ask for areturns number but had no response, so next day I emailed again to ask if they had received the previous one and to complain that £112.20 had been taken from my bank! Again .... nothing

 

After a third email they actually confirmed receipt of it and next day I had 2 replies

1. To say that my account had now been cancelled (do I believe them???)

2. To say that as it was now after the 14 day period and they hadnt heard from me????!!! They had assumed that I must be happy with the product so had taken the payment. GRRRRRRRR

Now after several emails having been ignored I am very annoyed to say the least.:mad2:

I will go to my bank today and see what they can suggest.

 

JUST DONT GO THERE.....ITS RUBBISH ANYWAY:evil::evil::evil:

I have reported this company to Watchdog on BBC television, hopefully they will look into this sham of a company who obviously rip people off! I too fell for the "free trial" pay postage only, sent the items back to Ireland costing £8.08 within the allotted time, and they still took the 2 lots of money from my bank account. No response to email and can't get through on the phone! Lets hope Watchdog come up trumps!

:lol::lol: I wnt to my bank (Nat West) yesterday to tell them about this company and they were extremely helpful.

 

I told them I still had copies of all emails including the first one that I sent them to ask for a ruturns number.

As I had used the crucial word CANCEL, it was sent before the money was taken from my account and within the specified 14 days, they could credit me for the full £112.50, and they will keep watch on my account just in case they decide to try their luck and take any more money.:-)

I was told that they have 30-40 calls daily regarding 'slim tone plus' (thats just my bank!) so hopefully it will get sorted before too many more people fall victim to their unscrupulous trading.

I will keep my eye on Watch Dog who will hopefully also pick up on it and widen awareness so that this [problem] can be STOPPED!!!!!

i have received email from this sham of a company saying they are refunding my money ! which will take upto 5 working days to go into my account ! they tried saying the goods wernt received by them that i sent back BUT i had proof in a receipt that you can track your parcel on ! i told them i was going the police as this was FRAUD !!!! i will let yas no if infact they have refunded my money .

This was my one and only response from the morons after I'd sent many emails ending with the one below on 9th Jan.

The ticket number they've used is the same one that I have been including on each message sent so not quite sure WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT???

Should I answer it........nah!!!! Will keep you posted.

Good luck any one trying to get refunds and to anyone thinking of subscribing to this bunch of C.....P PLEASE DONT!!!!

 

 

This is just to inform you that I have now contacted the Police, my bank and also watchdog bbc programme regarding your terrible comany ethos, and have given them all copies of these emails. All of these authorities are aware of your company as many other victims have told of their experiences which appear to be identical versions to mine....strange that eh.

I too fell into this trap. I managed to get £75 back by sending them everything they had sent to me (as they asked). However they took £150 so the refunded £75 was the money they took for the first month (not the free trial). As I sent everything back,including the trial products, the position I am in is that I have absolutely no products but they have £75 of mine!!

 

I have sent Slimtone many many emails and although they have replied to every one of them they just repeat the same nonsense. I asked them for the address of the company head office and this is in Panama so I don't think there is much to be gained from writing to them. They have no email address that I can find.

 

I contacted Watchdog so maybe if everybody does the same they might help us.

 

I am disgusted with them for robbing me of £75.

Hi guys....just to update you....I got an email from the company stating they were going to give me a refund, checked my account this morning, low and behold a full refund for both items.....don't ask me how and why, just hope more of you keep fighting to get your hard earned money back. Keep emailing, keep threatening the police and watchdog. Good luck xx

Unless you count the 5 emails I have received from

Ketone Premium aka Bodycleanse Plus aka Slimtone (all one and the same outfit!!!)

 

That is after unsubscribing and ticking the box to say NO MORE EMAILS TO BE SENT

Please persist with this rogue company.

 

I won't bore you with all the details of my dealings with Slim plus/Body Cleanse except that I did receive a full refund for £112.50.

 

I'm annoyed that I wasted £4.98 for postage for trial and under £3 to return product to Ireland (Get proof of posting don't waste £9 on recorded delivery!) But especially the amount of time that I wasted emailing/phoning/contacting credit card company. My credit card company have been made aware of the fraudulent activity. I did threaten Slim plus that as I abided by terms of trial, they had to also otherwise I was going to take action against them. Maybe my threats worked?

 

I haven't needed to but I feel they should be reported to BBC Watchdog.

I purchased from the site and money was taken out of my account. All they seem to reply is 'In the terms and conditions it states'. I have bought both bottles. a waste of time and space this site!! I would say to anyone do not register for these pills. You can never speak to anyone contact is an automatic service!!!

Okay guys so I did the something 2 nights ago and signed up to the free trial or not so free now I'm wondering I've tried ringing them but the number has been canceled so I've emailed and emailed and heard nothing back I never got an email with the reference number confirming my order I went to the bank today and I'm gonna close down my complete account nd move banks if and when I receive there products ill return them to the iridh address but I'm afraid they will try and find my new bank details has anyone completely closed their account, and been okay I'm quite worried cause I can't make contact with the company I will send them a letter with the returned unused products but I'm just worried now HELP. Is needed PLEASE!!!

My bank told me that as I had used the word CANCEL in my very first e mail to them and it was within the specified 14 days from purchase, they would refund my money. They also have a watch on my account just to check that no more money is taken. Just go to your bank, explain what's happened to make them aware. Print out your e mails and take them with you. Changing banks is a pain....don't let these idiots dictate where you bank.

Hi, Ive been a wally and signed up for the trial, havent received anything but they have taken over one hundred pounds out of my account this morning, I have been reading all your comments and I can see you say you have e mailed but the e mail address I have keeps bouncing back saying not delivered. Can you give me the e mail address you have been using, thanks, Jay.

I just used the support@ email address, whether our not they replied was another thing tho :-[ I would say to any one dealing with thus outfit should go to their bank our contract credit card companies. They are being bombarded with complaints so they should help out

I signed up for this trial yesterday and google for reviews this morning. Thats when I found this thread. I telephoned my credit card company and explained the situation. The customer service rep advised me to email the company and cancel the automatic subscription. He is going to email the company's merchant bank to advise no further payments should be taken from my credit card and I will have to return the product as soon as I receive it. Its a good job I found this site! thanks for sharing your experiences and I hope you all get refunds.

I to have been caught by this [problem], unfortunately they managed to take two lots of payment from my credit card of £ 112.50 each time, i have since cancelled with the company which gave an automated cancellation number, they do not answer your emails, the bank said they can not credit my card as the way they have worded the trial is what they have done, unfortunatley i must put it down to a bad experience but the bank have written to them and said that no further money will be paid as i have cancelled, but they said keep an eye on your transactions as they can try and take further payments, which the bank will then credit back, but it is up to you to keep a check on your account.

The pills do not work either so some one is laughing there heads off at us, Hopefully word will get around and they will go out of business, let all your friends and aquaintencies know about this [problem].

I fell for it too. I received the products 5 days after ordering, and i cancelled the subscription on the 13th day. They emailed me 3 days later telling me i had to return at least half of each product, within 21days of ordering. By the time i had that email all banks and postoffices were shut. I managed to get to my postoffice and bank on day 18. I paid 8 pounds 68 pence for air mail and for the parcel to be signed for. When i went to the bank they gave me the frauds helpline number to contact. I rang them up explained the situation, and in less than 24 hours the whole 112.50 pounds was refunded. Hopefully everyone else will get there refund.

Hi I have also signed up to slimtone plus I received them quite quickly but I then read the small print to find that I would have to pay£75 a month. I then googled it and found that the advert with the bbc presenter that had supposedly tried it was actually an America new presenter so I cancelled over the phone which took along time on a premium rate number. I then cancelled my bank card and told the bank that I had cancelled any future transactions and have so far not had any problems.
