Well, I certainly can't see the point of the offside law. Who decided you had to have someone of the opposite team between you and the goal before you could shoot for the goal? Why shouldn't someone run straight down the pitch and go for a goal? I bet a man made that rule.

 

'Goal' really is a difficult word to type fast. I don't type it often, so I keep typing 'goat'. I don't type 'goat' that often either, but 'at' follows more easily than 'al'.

 

the offside rule is stupid.

 

Is it not that you are offside if you attempt to or score a goal if you are further forward than the last defender?

 

If that is correct then you would already need to be in the goal as l thought the gaol keeper was trying to stop you from scoring the goal so in theory is the last defender.

Yeah... depending on the result from Uruguay v Mexico. If a draw, then they're out, if not it goes to goal difference. France are -2 goals at the moment and the other 2 are +2 and +3 so they pretty much are going home I'm afraid.
