Quick question before i reply with my LBA. The response HFC gave were for the £12 late payment charges only plus 8%. They stated that this would be a 100% refund of charges,- however there was a £50 default notice fee (which i included in my prelim) that they left out. Am I entitled to chase for that too? Cheers! :-)

if they have charged you a diff int use that and now its goingto court , add the 8% too

and yes, you can get the default fee too

there is no legislation that states they can charge anything for a DN issue.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Cheers DX. LBA off tomorrow. Glad to hear about the default fee also :-D Lets' see what nonsense they come back with. From what ive read on the HFC forum they like to take things to the court stage before dropping things very quickly.

  • 8 months later...

Well reclaimed,

outstanding monies almost cleared..

.then Muck Hall arrive on the scene!

Usual nonsense recieved from them duly ignored.

I have, however, received 2 new letters-one from Muck and the other from HFC.

Firstly Mucks letter stated that I owed nearly £1,500!

-just nonsense desgned for me panic I think,

but now I have had the same from HFC accompanied by a default notice!

I dont owe this amount and I already was defaulted for this quite a few years back....slightly confused??

Any ideas what these lot are up to??

Hi DDW

What type of debt is this and what items did you reclaim? Did they pay you the money direct?

Also, when you reclaimed, was the amount claimed not offset against any existing balance the lender claimed you owed already?

The matrix is intrinsically flawed. Within it is the program for it's own destruction. If you are reading this, you are in the matrix and it's days are numbered...so watch out!

No default registered on CRA since the first back in 2006. Weird...

Hi btm

Was a loan. Unable to keep up repayments and defaulted 2006. Made agreement to pay instalments to Lewis Group (before discovering CAG). Lewis then farmed it off on the DCA merry go round (after I discovered CAG, asked for my CCA and reclaimed late payment fees etc). As noted above Muck Hall and HFC are playing silly beggers are now sending letters that state that I still owe almost all of the orginal amount!
