Can anyone please help me smile.gif

I have just viewed my credit file for the 1st time ever. - Thanks to Martins article on MSE

Since viewing it I have a few questions: Sorry to be a pain

1- I have a default which is dated the 28/02/2003 - when will this be removed from my account? and will it be removed all together or will it still show.

2- I had a trust deed until Jan this year, now finished, Letter to support that. Now there is another company who has also palced a default on my account. Will this remain for the full 6yrs or will it be removed as the account is now cleared due to trust deed being complete smile.gif

3- When you view the account - Under Account information - It lists any creditors - Now 3 out of 5 say Satisfactory and when I go in to show details they say green 0 - I assume this is all good?

I am sorry to ask so many questions.

We are very worried about what we are doing

my understanding is this

1 the default remains on your account for 6 years and so should fall off in feb of this year

2 this default will also remain on your account for 6 years. Despite the trust deed the default is still a default and stays there

3 0's are good- there should be a key on the account but basically it means that all is well on the account.

Sorry to be a pain in the back side but I have another question.

My other default that I have mentioned above is with Capital one! Is there any point on me fighting to get it removed! Its 3yrs old now.

Can I go down the line of I never got the default and ask them to prove it?

If so what letters do I send?

We are very worried about what we are doing

Hi Marcellep :)

If you've got a free trial to one of the Credit Reference Agencies, please remember to cancel it completely well before the 'trial' ends.

  • 1 month later...

Hello!

Can anyone tell me if I have any chance of getting a default removed from my account?

It dates back 3years from Capital One ! and it was also cleared in my trust deed.

Please anyone?

We are very worried about what we are doing
