  1. Hello Can someone help me please, I have an account with 24 Ace (Express Gifts). Last month I received my statement and noticed theyt had dropped my available credit by over £1000 Now the available balance is less than my actual outstanding amount which now shows as me being over my agreed limit on CRA's I received NO letter advising me of this, I have called them and they have failed to call me back, I have sent letters to the Preston address and nothing back... What can I do now?

  3. The fight is still ongoing with Capital One and now the IC have taken my complaint onboard and are willing to investigate the complaint. I thought I would share all the letters that Capital One have sent me, I would been keen to read any thoughts that anyone may have with regards to the letters. I have removed all names, accounts numbers and addresses for security reasons. I hope nobody minds but I have left the name and address of the person who sent me the letters. Letter one below Okies so thanks so IdaInFife I have now managed to show the letters a few posts below
  4. As most say above you need to have Joint loan, Bankl account or Credit card. To be associated
  5. Can anyone tell me if I am etitled a copy of my default. As per cap one they do not need to send me anything at all. What do I do now? They have sent me a letter with a copy of a blank default!!!
  6. This is a letter I received from Capital One today, what a check the letter is dated the 7th April 2009. With the letter I have a basic copy of terms and conditions which apply to the credit card. No information they have provided is what I have asked for. I asked for “a copy of the default under the data protection act” I was told I was entitled to this by the information commissioner. I think this is just a standard letter with a few lines added.
  7. I have had a TD but not with them! Who put you in touch with them? I done my TD through Begbies Traynor in Glasgow despite me living in Edinburgh
