Just moved into a new home to find it has this heating oil system! I have never come across it before now, so I set about finding quotes for 1000 Litres.

The cheapest supplier so far in the Lincolnshire area is Chandlers at £325.50: Chandlers Oil & Gas: heating Homes and fuelling Businesses

If anyone can beat that, I would like to hear it!!!

Me and my wife live in wrexham, we have always kept an eye on prices in the past, although there are some good ones, we found the cheapest prices we could find were at www.heatingoil.co.uk, and we found that we were paying even less when we ordered with our neighbours.

For Inverness area, Highland are usually cheaper but be careful about them. I've been checking prices for a couple of days with Highland and CPL (would have checked Gleaner but they have yet to answer the phone!).

On Friday:

Highland and CPL both 51p

On Monday, after a snowy weekend:

CPL - 52p

Highland - 58p

Despite their previous good record, Highland seem to be taking advantage of the cold snap to push up prices, and I will be checking them very carefully in future. If I'd gone with them I'd have paid an extra 50 quid for nothing. Please always phone around before buying oil.
