Having received a full refund, I found I had another charge pending so I emailed First Direct to tell them it was unlawfull etc using the letter from Spiceskull (thanks)

 

I gave them 2 days to reply and they replied in time with an offer of a 50% refund which I've just declined,

I'll let you know how it goes!!

I rejected the first offer of withdrawing 50% of the pending charge and gave 24 hrs to withdraw rest and notify me by email which they've done!!

 

All credit to First Direct, a full refunf of all charges AND pending charges removed

Same here. I had £80.00 debited on Monday, which took me overdrawn. They've refunded the £80.00 and gave me an assurance (I was recording the call) that I won't be charged nexct month for being overdrawn on monday.

 

Strangely enough, everyone I spoke with seems really worried about dealing with me, I wonder why hahaha!
