Fond memories of the Mount - had the privelage to go over on the Drake with M'Lord and get invited to his new years party a few years ago. Had friends who lived on there and he was the gardener so also had privelage to go into the private gardens whenever we chose. Oh the days!!!! But yes! Hell of a walk up.

I think it's great that those with kids can meet up too. If you have a family you can't always get someone to have them for the day or a weekend, but you can still have a great family day out with some like minded adults to meet up with too.

Something for everyone on CAG. Community and family is exactly what CAG is about. Of course I also enjoy the more adult meets as those I've met in London and Manchester will confirm.:D

I hadn't heard of that MTM. £5.50 a head if more than 20 book and under 3's are free. Accommodation links also there. Might be worth a phone call to see if they have some kind of area where those who wanted to chat and BBQ could congregate, but in the meantime older kids like Lula and Crusher could go on the big dipper.

Thanks. :)
