  1. Unbelievably bad advice. Even if you don't trust the selling Dealer there are several specialist companies which offer GAP Hopefully you won't need it, only the shortsighted would call that a waste of money. If you do need it, it could save you thousands. Wow H
  2. Don't forget the post on the Jaguar forum years ago where an owner took The Jaguar Guy Salmon to court as he claimed they damaged it whilst washing it. The concensus was he'd win. He nearly lost his house. It cost him a fortune and he only kept his house because he signed it over to his wife. H
  3. All that positive feedback you gave them made them want to leave the area. H
  4. Or, if that really is the letter, it is appalling. Someone at TfL needs to go back, or maybe start, school. Surely the letter would be personally addressed to the accused and properly formatted. Especially from TfL. H
  5. What is a 'criminality check'? Maybe it's me but the letter looks fake as well. There is an error in the last line of the first paragraph "Transport of London"?? "Dear Madam", who uses this anymore, I would have thought certainly not the real TfL. Overwhelmingly bad smell of fish. H
  6. Whilst not judging you, the hotel has certainly not put 2 marriages at risk. Whatever you are trying to cover up, it is your deceit which has put you and your floozy's marriages' at risk. Blaming the hotel for being rumbled is not the right thing to do. I've spent many hours in GDPR training and your 'Partner' whomever that may be, would have a 'legitimate interest' in the disclosed information as it was they who has allegedly left items in the room. The fact that this was based on a lie, the hotel would, and could not, be aware. "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.........................................................." H
  7. "My daughter has recently been left a large sum of money and we have been advised that the will stipulates the funds are paid to and held by my wife". Who said anything about Trusts, if your wife was a trustee she would already know about it. All the answers above are overly complicated. Your wife receives the money, gives it to your Daughter. No one should know. Only God will know it wasn't used for its intended purpose. Except you just posted it on a public forum................................................. H
  8. where steering is.......................................................................... ? positioned located round found or Gerbil. H
  9. Hang On, back to the first post. The machine might not be faulty. Lack of water getting to the machine might be many things, poor installation, poor plumbing, or a faulty machine. You need to verify what is wrong first. H
  10. Well, as Meat Loaf might say 'Two out of three ain't bad'. H
  11. I don't agree with the OP at all but wow, that is harsh. Maybe you would feel different if ever a debilitating condition affects you. H
  12. Ford have similar technology in their Active City Stop. It's saved my furry ass several times. H
  13. Don’t we just love people who wander into Service Reception clutching a Google printout.
  14. Apart from anything else the original post was about a Stoneacre backed 'lifetime' guarantee and not a 'warranty' per se, as you are all using the term. It is a marketing tool which Stoneacre use to tie their customers in returning for a service. If the customer is aware and uses it correctly it can be a benefit. Everyone has a choice. H
  15. What was a car doing on a bicycle? H
  16. Great, that's all we need, another expert. H
  17. King12345, You really do not make any sense whatsoever. I do wish I could disclose to you just what I do everyday, but I just can't on a public forum. Over and out. H
  18. Apologies to those readers who are are bored. But if you are that bored with it all why are you still reading about it! I don't need to know what vehicle it is. I already know the range of clutch kit it will be and the type of vehicle doesn't make a blind bit of difference. It might be a Ford Engine and Powershift transmission shoe-horned into a Reliant Robin, it still needs a modified clutch kit. (I appreciate the Robin is however rear wheel drive so this would be a tad difficult!) You may see, under other posters signatures, a disclaimer which recommends seeking 'professional' advice if the poster is not sure about the quality of the advice given. Well, in matters such as this, I am that professional. You don't need to know how, or why. Frankly, if you don't get it now, you never will. H
  19. Well, there are two types of Ford Powershift. The dual clutch pack on larger vehicles is a wet one, the clutch discs run in the transmission oil and Ford hardly ever has issues with these. The Powershift dual clutch pack on the smaller vehicles is the one which gives a certain amount of trouble, Fiesta, B-Max, Focus etc. These clutch packs ave been modified several times and the the latest ones are on back order. The modified clutch pack comes as kit with various vehicle applications. As I said, EH can and could fit a previously listed part but they should not. It looks like they haven't. Which is good. I suspect you have already forgotten the OP is posting about a Powershift Clutch with is very different to a generic clutch. A Powershift dual clutch pack delivered to your door, if it really is a dual clutch pack, will almost certainly be of the older type and not the new, modified one. Try this, I'm sure a supplier would be willing to send you an old, obsolete part just to get rid of it. Do you want me to explain the operation of a Powershift Clutch and how it differs from a manual transmission and a traditional hydraulic automatic box? When in a hole, you should stop digging, instead, you appear to have changed your spade for a bigger one. H
  20. No I don't know the Reg No. How would I? I don't need to know the Reg No. to know the stock levels. How do I do this? I'm not going to tell. Sadly, I do know more about the Ford PowerShift technology and it's clutch's than is good for me. 'As far as I can make up' sums up your post perfectly. H
  21. EH, in this instance, are not talking rubbish, the latest, modified, PowerShift clutch pack is currently on back order, Ford are currently waiting for stock from LUK, the manufacturer. If EH were to fit an old type it would almost certainly go wrong or be no better than the old one. I do wish that people wouldn't post when they have no clue about the facts. H
