  1. That's fine whilst it works but a conviction for fraud can be difficult to shake off. Don't do this. H
  2. There must be easier ways to get a free kitchen................................ H
  3. As its half installed, get Virgin to finish it off. I moved from a rubbish BT internet years ago and its been great since. 400Mb down, 20Mb up and its never dropped out. H
  4. Now, now, no need for profanities. I was merely asking the question. (It doesn't of course but that's not what the post says). H
  5. Does a Head Gasket have threads? H
  6. Where on earth did you dig that little nugget of information from? H
  7. Well, as it looks like this is going to have a happy ending, without going to court with legal people everywhere. Added to the fact that I have just completed two day's worth of ridiculously boring GDPR training. It's a good job it's sorted because the information commissioner would have a field day (and possibly a coronary!) about the fact that a 'Neighbour' is planning court action on behalf of two vulnerable people who are not really in a position to give their informed consent or not. Anyway, looks like it's sorted. £3,200 for telly!! OMG H
  8. Nope, not on Ford you can't. The filler nozzle has a flap. The flap is dis-engaged by the nozzle pushing back three wedges. A smaller nozzle won't do this. That is the whole idea. A determined individual could dribble unleaded in but it would take a very long time. (There was a link to a YouTube Video here but someone else decided you aren't allowed to see it) H
  9. Thanks for the replies. My occupation is irrelevant. I'm barred from being a Police Officer because my parents were married when I was born. H
  10. I have CCTV pointing to three external walls and I'm planning a house move. If you saw a house with CCTV on it for sale, would you still consider it? I am in a quandary over will CCTV prevent my house sale and should I risk taking it down? H
  11. I'm sorry BF & Alex Durie but its the other way around. Petrol in a Diesel can be very bad. There are three stages :- 1. Not started - drain and refill, will be OK. 2. Started but not more than a few miles - drain, clean out lines and replace fuel filter. 3. Started and run till stop, very bad - drain clean out lines, fuel filter, injection pump, pipes and all injectors, very bad. Diesel oil is a lubricant which the pump and injectors need, petrol cleans the lubricant off and damages everything. Some insurers pay for the mistake just once. To keep on the right side of a manufacturer the car needs to be repaired correctly. Diesel in Petrol, not so bad, smokes a lot and if you're unlucky damages the DFF but not often. H
  12. If you are daft enough to steal £7 of Steak from the 'Mall' you work in, then you probably deserve everything you get. What's your Degree going be in? H
  13. You could also buy phone insurance next time as well, it's only a few pounds. H
  14. I have another question Is it not possible to construct a post without using asterisk'ed out expletives? We know you are a bit cheesed off but it is eminently possible to get your point across without swearing. H
  15. It is sad your relationship with your Parents broke down over a £600 Laptop. H
  16. Send the money to me, I'm sure i'll be able to find a way to send it to you. H
  17. Best 'I want an iPhone X' for free post so far................................... H
  18. This model Fiesta has what I would call a traditional, hydraulic, automatic gearbox. It is the models after which have powershift. The clutch is automatic, powered and dual, the gearbox is traditional (more or less). The gearbox is a traditional synchromesh gearbox with 'powershift' dual clutch. It is the dual clutch in the powershift which can cause issues. This Fiesta does not have this. It might be juddering, it might be the gearbox, but based on the information I have it is not the dual clutch problem, it is something unconnected. Which is why Ford Customer Services have come back to you and said there are no recalls or issues relating to your vehicle because the issues affecting your vehicle are not as a result of the dual clutch issue. There is never any intention to insult. I would suggest getting a diagnosis at a local automatic transmission specialist. Unfortunately this will be chargeable as the recall etc. relates to a different type of gearbox. H
  19. Whoa everybody, clarification needed. Which i'm trying to get. More than one type of gearbox\clutch fitted to '2012' Fiesta!! H
