The property has been empty for a few months.
Some electricity was used as workmen were redoing the property so small bill generated.

No gas was used at all.

There is smart meters installed.

I am being charged around £50 for gas standing charge even though no gas was used.

Is there any way of getting a refund on this?
I know other companies do but dont know about Bold?

I asked the lady on the phone but she said no but want to check any other options going.

Thank you for reading.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Standing charge is for rental of on site equipment and service supply infrastructure by the supplier so no, you can't claim that back.

You could cease supply altogether but if you need to guard against frozen pipes etc while the property is empty that could be a problem.
