First license questions.

Hi All. 
Helping a Neighbour. The Jobcentre has said she needs a Driving license as she is not looking for work far enough away, I know she will be refused as she has uncontrolled epilepsy but the JC are never wrong. 

Anyway the query is she has changed her name by law and has all the documents. This was due to a marriage break down. She is sending her birth certificate, marriage certificate and change of name deeds but does she need to send her divorce certificate.

Her divorce is not finalised as the ex has disappeared so cant serve papers and need to wait another 2 years and need to do what can to find him from what the courts have said. She does not have a decree Nisi or absolute

 Just tell the DWP she has epilepsy snd get a GP letter to confirm if they push it. 
 

 I wouldn't be paying for a licence knowing it'll be refused.

Done all that but the DWP drs says she is not bad enough. She is appealing the decision that her epilepsy is not a problem and she could work. Tho in the mean time she has to look for work and jump the hoops they want. 

 

She had a fit at the medical assessment  twice and they refused to call a ambulance as they were in assessment. They only allowed a ambulance to be called after her mum called the police and made a police complaint so they came out. During the ambulance journey she had another fit.
