Care workers who refuse Covid vaccine

Could care workers who refuse the vaccine face dismissal? Would employers have grounds to dismiss on the grounds that  cared-for clients would be at risk? On a similar note, would a carer be acting within their rights to refuse to attend to a client who had not taken up the offer of a vaccine?

Cannot see that anyone could be forced into having a vaccination injection.  

 

Is there any requirement in any work place in the UK to hold any vaccination certificate.?

 

People who have been vaccinated could arguably become complacent and feel they don't need to apply some safety standards such as wearing PPE.

Aren't NHS surgical and some other clinical staff required to have certain vaccinations?  (eg hepatitis etc)  Dentists too?

 

(Although I used to work in the NHS I don't know the answer, but I always thought it was the case).

 

Apart from that - the OP raises two interesting questions...
