Unable to tax at all.

Hello

im in a huge hole that i have no idea how to get out of,

 

i bought a motorbike which the owner unfortunately lost the log book and all documents,

i am new to driving

i did not know what i was getting myself into.

 

i have filled out a V62 application to apply for a new logbook in my name

but when i took it to the post office to have it sent off they told me the application kept getting rejected,

 

all my information was correct but just the system would not accept it,

they have told me to contact DVLA which i have tried to do but all contact to the DVLA is now closed,

 

now i have no way to apply for a log book

no way to sorn the motorbike

and no way to drive it.

 

i am trying to get a delivery job as i have been furloughed, as i need a job to pay for my expenses due to living on my own.

 

i have no idea what i can do if i even can do anything to sort this out. 

 

ps. i have no way to contact the old owner of the motorbike as he has moved address.

Check the status of the motorbike on this DVLA page. All you need is the registration number.  Tell us what it says.

1. Do you have the details of the person you bought the bike from.

 

2. Did you go to their address when you bought it.

 

3. Did you pay cash for it or what other means.

 

4. Did you pay the full market price for buying the bike.

 

5. What did you pay.

 

6. Give us make and model of the bike please.
