For some reason i cannot access the Benefits part of the forum so apologise if in wrong forum. Can a MOD move to the bemefit section and update my forum privileges please

Was awarded ESA with a new claim in Northern Ireland and continued with the support group. Had one hell of a job due to reciprocal agreement so i had to close down my claim on the mainland and open up another in Northern Ireland. We have no ATOS or work capability assessments in Northern ireland, until now.

.

Northern Ireland recently accepted the Governments welfare reforms and i have landed on my mat the ESA50 Form. So i fill that in and face yet another ATOS inquisition.

I was under the impression once you are placed in the ESA support group you do not have to face these Work Capability Assessments?

What was the prognosis of your last WCA?

It is Work Focused Interviews (WFI) that you don't attend if placed in the SG .

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

They have just sent another ESA50 Form to fill in

The problem being i am now in Northern Ireland and the Social security department over here is independent to the DWP. They do not talk to each other.

As my condition is progressive the DWP in England stated i would not be contacted again for three years. I have been on ESA in Northern Ireland for just over a year. I had to close down my ESA claim with the DWP and open up a new ESA claim in Northern Ireland under the Department for Social Security

Normall from the ESA50 form an ATOS inquisition follows

Hi obiter, it seems you have been unlucky. Before the welfare reforms here in N Ireland, the system was very lax compared to Great Britain, people were never assessed for years on end. I suspect this is now changing with the welfare reforms, I am awaiting the dreaded ESA50 form myself, as I have not been reassessed for nearly three years and I am in the WRAG group!
