I've replied a few time telling them I had cancelled this on the 20th Feb 06 the same day I signed up to it.

These have been ignored. Yesterday I received a letter demanding payment.

 

The account was cancelled well before 14 days but they are saying this isn't the case.

 

Advise is needed.

I was under the impression Usenext offers an illegal file downloading site such as P2P and contrary to copyright laws.

 

So i have to ask is how can a business that operates and sells unlawful activity as a service use the legal system to profit by it?

I consider this to be no more than a phishing activity if you have not used the service since 06 some 10 years ago and just ignore it.

 

Wait for more replies on people who have had personal dealings with these people first though but i am sure they will agree with me as there is not a lot they can do in reality.

Hi the date should have been Feb 16 not 06. Usenext offers access to News Groups and not P2P sites. If you know were to look you can download copyrighted material.

I take it you still have a copy of the email to cancel the service within the 14 days?

Updates - I never received a cancellation email. I Have cancelled many times since but still no email.

 

I am currently being harassed by Tesch Inkasso Forderungsmanagement GmbH, Bielsteiner Str. 43, 51674 Wiehl UseNext dont take no for an answer. I've just completed a form on http : //www . ukecc.net/ . I just want them to stop.
