Build more reservoirs and upgrade the pipework carrying water round the country.

More small/medium sized - local businesses

 

I would like to see investment into upgrading and restoring poorly maintained properties before new land is made available for house building.

There are plenty of derelict areas that can be used.

I don't think we need as many Peers in the house of lords - especially as at least a quarter of them only sign in daily to obtain their allowances.

 

I would also like to see fewer non elected people / advisors etc. I thought that was what the Civil Servants were for.

To sort out the train lines down here (south west) so that when there's flooding, we don't get cut off for weeks like we did in 2014. We had problems earlier this week, I do believe because of the floods.

Allow other lotteries to be set up with more chances for people to win, thoughts on lower amounts to be spread around. Take tnite £58m, why not make 58 people win or 116. You get my gist.

Problem with the lottery is that camelot run it and they want to make huge profits, and therefore the government could tax the hell out of it. Richard branson wanted to run it as a not for profit company and give all profits back into the health service and charities. Guess which company won the current contract awarded by the government.

So the National Lottery is a separate entity then. Close ties to the government.
