I too fell foul of Parking Eye,

stopped for 33 minutes in a staff carpark, in Poole September 13th 2104.

I did the silly thing of appealing,

stating the reason for temporarily using their facility, which was rejected.

One of my main concerns, is that the legal framework has moved on a bit,

and Parking Eye have updated their process to improve their success rates.

Is the advice still to ignorelink3.gif the parking chargelink3.gif Notices from Parking Eye?

Thanks,

Graham

No. You must not ignore. Please read through the forum about the issues and the correct approach. Follow the link – ignore – to see how you should react

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Advice used to be just ignore.

Not so anymore..

New process;

Wait for NTK notice to arrive from PPC, send challenge letter to them, requesting a POPLA code if they reject the challenge.

Appeal to POPLA using GPEOL argument.

Win.

Laugh at how much money the PPC has wasted trying to pursue you.

when they rejected your appeal they sghould have given you a POPLA code, 10 digits long. If they didnt you can either tell them that you expect them to provide it (copy letter to the BPA) or you can try waiting and if they dont send it within 35 days of your rejection letetr they will be timed out to claim from the keeper of the vehicle. this is a risky strategy as you appear to have identified yourself as the driver so that wouldnt count.
