Went to the Netherlands at the start of the year and no all these months later I seem to have been fined for a motoring offence. And it's a staggering 301 Euros :o

The letter isn't in English other than a small section that say if I disagree with the fine I can write to them. How can I tell if I disagree I don't know what its for. I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong but who knows....

Any ideas?

Cheers

If you're unfamiliar with google translate be prepared for the fact that it fails to discriminate meanings eg fine as in tuning, parking or weather. Its syntax is even less reliable, though not too bad in a cognate language like Dutch.

There are certainly Dutch-speaking users of CAG, though whether any are online today I wouldn't know. And ppl who speak German would almost certainly be able to suss out the gist. So why not scan and post the letter up, minus personal identifiers?

Who sent the letter?
