Very interesting about the solicitor. They've done things that way before. Not even given her time to digest the papers. Reconfirms their utter shoddiness.

I thought maybe they'd use their own Legal when nearby and be better prepared.

Thx for clarifying

I don't understand why they are so shoddy. Why? They're just wasting money!!

I think they hope to get sneaky ccjs put through in the hope people won't respond and get it by default. My guess is that happens allot and is their bread and butter.

It's a sad state of affairs really.

As you say, if they can sneak in default judgments why waste money in putting together a good case when you can do it on the cheap with a pile of poo?

My apologies Oleg. In my excitement I wasn't very clear on answering your question.

The Solicitor was definitely not their in house solicitor. She stated she was instructed that morning and given the paper work only an hour before. She was very nice to me. So I think she definitely was not a MKDP breed! 😁

Were their witness statements prepared by Mr Newton, ex of TR and HFO? Not sure he’s actually a solicitor...

Hi,

No, MKDP's witness statements were prepared by Taylor Atkins. I'd be interested to know if this is a regular name used. I think they have a couple of people in their legal department from what I gathered when I visited their office, that was when I hand delivered my witness statements 😁

It might be good for me to mention that the solicitor that attended was not Taylor Atkins.

Ah. Again, not a solicitor, just a ‘Litigation Assistant’ with Compello Operations Ltd (according to LinkedIn).

What an appalling puff piece. The content says exactly nothing of substance.

Oh! Compello has a full page ad on the inside front cover! Fancy that! Nice to see totally unbiased, non-commercially-driven ‘journalism’.
