Free Allotments Outside Prisons

Something new seems to be happening in Kent and it seems that the Prison Service are literally allowing people to have "free allotments", only for use, not to keep, outside the prisons.

 

I know this is true for the Swale, Kent area!

 

Only drawback is that there aren't usually hosepipes or outside taps in the area so be prepared to cart a few 10l tubs of water around

Should they really be doing that?, what if people want to break in to break people out:shock:

Yeah thinking back to "The great Escape".. Spades and prisoners aren't a grand idea

 

The prisons here all tend to the local gardens and public floral displays and... kudos to them, do a bloody cracking job too! I think being in Kent the whole "garden" thing is emphasised upon.
