Something new seems to be happening in Kent and it seems that the Prison Service are literally allowing people to have "free allotments", only for use, not to keep, outside the prisons. I know this is true for the Swale, Kent area! Only drawback is that there aren't usually hosepipes or outside taps in the area so be prepared to cart a few 10l tubs of water around
