Work Programme or Work Choice ?

What is best if you are recovering from an injury please?

Just practical (not Benefit rates). Which programme would expect to have the best outcome with reduced capacities. Best outcome is thought of as the best use of my energies. Job or volunteer work, preferably a paid job. For the older worker.

I am finding it a bit of struggle on the work programme which I chose to do as I thought I could handle it. Not so sure any more as there are not many jobs around and the advice is rather harsh and difficult to comply with.

My status is higher on JSA but the support seems to be less. JSA WP is real life though.

the WP is not fit for purpose, you get treated like dirt by the advisors who are supose to be helping you.

I am getting the hang of dealing with them now. I got some advice from the DEA (even though I am not technically disabled). One thing to do is to request to change your advisor if you are not getting on.

I sat in front of my screen yesterday and felt blank. None of the jobs were suitable for me.

I am just going to have to explain.

The jobseeker's agreement is with the Job Centre not the WP. If you have barriers to work, the WP can call on agencies to help them with specialist advice. These are not earners for them though, at least I don't think so.

I contacted third party agencies of my own back. Some even provide advocates to help you deal with the WP advisor. DEA said this was allowed.

Still a bit confusing. This is the personalities of recruitment advisors. The person has to fit the job as this is what employers want in the real world.

I think WP may be better for me. At least they are not condescending. I can't stand the latter.
