To think I was going to take all my money away from my bank and deposit it into the Co-op's! Oops!

 

Are you going to take your money away? Are we going to see a bank run like at Northern Rock circa 2007?

 

Is Gideon going to bail out the Co-op or take the chance to inflict a blow to the Unions?

I wonder if this had anything to do with their withdrawal from the purchase of the LTSB branches ?

Just bear in mind that the treasury guarantees any savings up to £50,000 so there is nothing to worry about.

 

The Coop also has other businesses so can easily draw on fund from them if it should come to that, but I think it's just the yanks, (who brought the world to the point of bankruptcy) that are playing silly buggers and like to think they control all banks around the world.
