help with making a claim

Hello wonder if any one can help my husband has a capital one card he had it around 5 years ago he spend £200 on it then we got our selfs in a bit of a mess and missed a few payments and loads of default charges was added to it we then sort our selfs out and started paying it and I've been reading on here about people claiming back unfair charges and ppi and was hoping some one would point me in the right direction.

Have you got all of your card statements?

 

If so you can complete the attached spreadsheet which will work out your claim.

 

Have a read of No.4 in my signature about interest you can claim.

 

You send your spreadsheet to Cap1 together with a preliminary letter demanding a refund of the charges. Letter is in the CAG library, the link to which is at the top of every CAG page in green

Thank you we don't have all the statements when we moved house a few years ago I burnt them all.

Ok so you need to send a Subject Access Request (SAR) to Cap1. There is a template in the CAG library.

 

Cost is £10 and they will have 40 days to comply
