I've sent this lot a token payment of £5.00 to start off with. I sent them several emails and now one letter begging them to freeze interest and to give me time to sort myself out. They've phoned me at home, mobile, (my parents too) and at work and now it is getting silly. I keep on getting texts, messages and emails saying that they haven't recieved anything, but I know since July, I've kept in touch plus I paid the last interest on my new debit card! My mother was in hospital in July and I defaulted due to losing my old card. got a new one and forewarned these clowns about this and what did they do? Ignored my emails and tried to take money from my old card. I eventually got the new one and they took money off of there, but they sent no apologies and they have been ignorant all the way through. These people obviously can't read otherwise they wouldn't cause unnecessary stress to people.

I'd like to know what they would do, if they had illness or a loved one in hospital (serious illness mind not a small thing at all) and see how they feel getting harassed when they are still getting paid. They are *******s!

I am also encountering problems with Payday Express. I am on medication for depression which makes matters worse. Has anyone complained to the OFT? All my e-mails are ignored. What I can't understand is every non priority creditor accepted a repayment plan. Why are Payday Express so different? Are they trying to grind people down?

How much do you owe and how much have you paid back?

I owe them 500 pounds technically. However, they are now adding interest and ignoring my e-mails. If I knew they would freeze interest I would make a token payment.

I have considered going on a national debt line DMP. If this would stop the hassling phone calls and e mails I would sign up. I do have substantial non priority debt. However, every creditor has accepted my repayment plan.

I am slightly cautious of going on a DMP as they told me I would not be able to put money away. (to save) They said savings are considered a luxury. I have one daughter who is at Uni and I had to help her with the deposit for her flat. My second daughter will start Uni Sep 2012. Plus I have my youngest daughter too.

I am curious as to why Payday Express make people suffer?

Pay day loans can be dangerous. In some States in the USA they have been banned.

Darren, you'll just have to keep making payments till you've paid what you think you owe then write to them stating you believe you have repaid in full. After that you'll just have to wait and see what they do and take it from there. There's no point in keep asking what they will do as no-one can answer that.

As I said, pay them then write to them telling them you believe you have paid in full. You can't do anything about them harrassing you after you've paid - until you have paid. Only then can you deal with whatever they do. Just make payment first.

You're trying to deal with the future when you should be dealing with the present.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
