I have emailed Wage Day Advance asking for a payment plan to be set up, I owe them about £250 they are asking for my bank statements, I dont want to give these as I have a joine bank account with my partner and his wages goes into the bank this is private information and also they can than see who my partner works for and may start even harassing him for money even tho he has nothoing to do with this, unsure what to do with this one, there basically saying unless I send bank statements there going to carry on with intereest etc

Dear Claire,

Wage day advance are not obliged to accept any reduced offered without the required evidence nor are we obliged to freeze interest and charges unless we can come to an amicable arrangement,

We will not refuse your payments of £20 into our bank account however unless a formal arrangement is in place on your account it will not prevent any action taking place

Hi Foxee don't give in to them. They either accept a payment plan or don't get paid. Let them whistle for the bank statements. As for adding interest on, they can but doesnt mean you have to agree and pay it. They don't go the court route (not surprising) so no agreement = no payment. Not much they can do really.

By all means tell them why you will not provide statements. Assume you bank account is safe from them!
