Lloyds Bank undefended action

A successful claim was made against LLOYDS for bank charges of £2000.The court said they were illegal but the claimant had to instruct bailiffs before he received compensation.

The court actually said that the charges were illegal? Do you want to contact the moderators with this info - and maybe supply them with more details.

However, if the claim was undefended then it isn't likely that the judge said thatthe charges were unlawful. however, we would like very much to know more, please.

Is this not the case that was on BBC news about a week ago. The News report was on the midday bullitin that bailifs were going in that afternoon and about an hour later the claimant has his money.

 

But the bank decided to make a statement saying that they 'forgot' to enter a defence and were paying the claim as it was easier than trying to defend now, but they insisted that their charges were legal.

 

Yeah right!
