What a site! Thank you. Having read the FAQ's - yes, good girl that I am, I am about to pursue all of the banks that I have accounts with, and I see that some of our banks (Scottish) are not listed separately eg Clydesdale etc. I see that the FAQs will be updated on Scottish Law. If I come accross any differences in rules etc, I will pass them on. I have just come into the site this evening and have been on for ages.

If in the meantime anyone has any tips on anything that may be different please let me know.

Just a quick Q.

My account was opened/is held in a branch in England, my home address is in England, but I'm studying in Scotland right now. If push came to shove, should I be making the claim in a Scottish or English court? If I'd have to claim against them at the court local to my branch, would travel to there (nearly £100) be considered "reasonable travel expenses"?

And, as it's my first post, I've have read the FAQ: 743rjfrrE4

This £750 rule seems grossly unfair. Especially as i want to claim £2300 ! Ho wmuch more is it going to cost me to claim this if I cannot use the small claims procedure I have already had my flat "denial of any repayment" from the bank manager and would like to get "legal on his ass" but if I cannot use the small claims court in Scotland is it worth it?
