  1. You cant make it up can you, there you are happily paying these fools on the same date as before and they claim that you have missed their payment date, and when you ring them up to confim your details they refuse to talk to you, ignore them and continue your payments when you want them to leave your account - simply write to the idiots and tell them this and that if they have your DoB wrong then unlucky for them and on no account send them your birth certificate. or stop paying them as they obviously have the wrong person:lol:
  2. Yes there is nothing to stop you raising a dispute, although it maybe beneficial to await their response If she applied for a card on line then there will be no signed agreement, has by ticking the box you have agreed to their terms, so was the barclays applied for online ?
  3. They have provided a copy only, which is what they are now allowed to do - thanks to the toothless OFT et-al. go down the due diligence route as outlined above. Hopefully some other caggers will look in and offer some advice
  4. Which card was first? this one or the other, whichever this agreement looks valid - but I would question why a person would be allowed to take out 2 credit cards from the same provider
  5. same as previous post - did she re-sign when barclayshark took over from egg? if not then she needs the egg agreement
  6. These are T&Cs only, did your wife take this out on line? or by completing an application form, if the later send the in dispute letter staing that this does not provide any evidence of an agreement, in that it does not show any personal info except her name which in reality could be added by anybody at anytime
  7. another thought, you state above that there are 2 accounts with sygma bank, are these credit cards or loans? if credit cards how did she get 2?
  8. Hi and welcome to the CAG and yur first steps towards curbing the threat-o-grams and calls Again Welcome
  9. worth a try going down the cancellation route
  10. you really need the T&C's provided by the course provider/salesman, but looking at the agreement this is between you and barclays not you and the course provider
  11. How nice a customer shopping card that could have been photoshopped from anywhere - send them a photocopy of a cheque and tell them to cash that
  12. Judging by the mugshot he needs to live in a hole, along with all the other trolls
  13. unfortunately with many people being refused credit by the main stream banks etc these firms can only continue to thrive, time the government stepped in and forced some legislation that limits the amount of interest these sharks can levy, it is done in other countries just the UK that is spineless
  14. any terms and conditions for the course, ie can they arbitarily move the course location
  15. write back and state that you have never heard of capquest and do not recognise any debt to said company, and until such time as proof is provided all future correspondence will be ignored
  16. ask them if they are going to provide a free safe so you can keep the debt secure for them:-)
  17. if its Sb'd best to leave alone, especially if there is doubt around PPI - why allow these dca's a chance to harrass you further - but in the end it is your call
  18. Lasker International = DCA Capital credit Management = debt purchaser so could be they conned you into a DD then passed it to this corwd to collect, either way it is unethical what is the debt and who was it with?
  19. call british gas and ask them if they have representatives canvassing your area re loft insulation, if not then contact the police and let them know that some suspicious guy is cold calling claiming to be from british gas
